Foot Care options for people who have Diabetes

Diabetes can affect the blood flow and feeling in your feet. You may not notice cuts, blisters, or sores because they do not hurt. These injuries can also take longer to heal.

Taking care of your feet is very important. Good foot care helps prevent infections and serious problems. In some cases, untreated foot wounds can lead to the loss of a toe, foot, or part of the leg. Regular foot care can help lower this risk.
